Our area is blessed with an abundance of great, fresh fruits and vegetables along with talented folks and organizations that turn them into tasty edibles.
For many years now, our Farmers Market (Saturdays 8 – 12 at the corner of Bonner & Water St) has been THE place to visit first before we start our regular weekend shopping. People know they’ll be buying the freshest produce and will also be supporting our local growers.
The Harbor District has so many unique offerings, from brand new items to museum quality antiques from independent, local shop owners. The large array of stores range from boutiques to consignment shops. You’ll find artisans whose attention to detail makes their products uniquely one of a kind and shop owners whose service is beyond compare.
Washington has an eclectic array of eateries, with something for anyone’s pallet. Many feature the freshest local seafood and have restaurant choices that will take you from fine to casual dining. We feature local brewers, as well as North Carolina wine, so we taste as good as we look!
Relive the charm of our historic city when you stay with us at one of our memorable Bed and Breakfasts.
Located near our Downtown District, you’ll find elegant accommodations that will be the highlight of your visit.
